i have a 2002 gmc 4x4 trucks with grappling tires.... now there is this part of my ranch that is on an uphill and that particular area is very soft, if i dont gain enough momentum then i can get over to the top. Is there anything I can do to fix this? like sandbags or some sort of railing i can lay on the soft part of the ground?

  1. lower air in the tires.  20 psi or less is good in sand.

  2. we use paddles in soft sand.

  3. You can't get over the hill when in four wheel drive?

Have you considered using an ATV instead?

  4. lay a big piece of thin plywood or get 2 big pieces of plywood so you can drive over one under each tire or you can do the sand bags to get traction hope this helped you

  5. Wendy a woman of your enterprise needs a halftrack and i think they were made by GM . And no mountain or army will ever get in your way.

  6. Pour gravel over the soft part of the ranch road. It's not a truck problem it is an earth's surface issue.
