  1. I make these stuffed jalepenos that everyone loves.  You take a whole jalap. and cut it in half horizontily and scoop the seeds out.  You can then take either regular cream cheese or my fav. the pineapple cream cheese and stuff them.  You can put the back together or leave them separated and wrap them in bacon.  Be sure to put a tooth pick in them so that the bacon doesn't roll up on you.  They are better on the grill, but still really great in the oven.  Good Luck

  2. cooked asparagus wrapped in prosscuitto

  3. check foodnetwork.com or even google unique appetizers on google. they always have a bunch that come up.

  4. http://www.wilton.com/recipes/recipesand...

  5. Prosciutto Di Parma( thinly sliced) and wrapped around sweet cantaloupe or honeydew slices, garnished( in the middle of the plate ) with fresh raspberries.

    Caprese

    Carpaccio

Mushrooms stuffed w/ crabmeat( and bread crumbs)

Ahi Tuna rolled in black and white sesame and seared( Rare only) with a side of teryaki.

    So many more.

  6. Is there a theme...other  than 35th anniversary?

We always have a big success with meatballs, if you want my recipe email me, you bake them and make a simple BBq sauce

you could have a mexican food theme and set up stuff for mini tacos, with salsa and guacomole

how about a champage fountain with fresh fruit and a variety of crackers and cookies, may be also a chococoalte fountain

a fruit basket makes a great centerpeice and you can eat it to, you can do a traditional watermelon basket or

take a head of cabbage cut off the end put in a clean clay pot and use kabob sticks as stems and thread fruit on them to make flowers and stick in the cabbage,  use fresh pineapple, cut in 1/2 inch slices and use a flower cookie cutter and make BIG flowers, cherries, strawberries, etc etc...

  7. I  do a fruit porcupine for all our parties and it is always a big hit.

    Ingredients/Materials:

    *wooden skewers

    *watermelon

    *various fruits

    *marshmallow fluff (big jar)

    *2 packages of cream cheese

Cut the watermelon in half and use a melon baller to get the melon out.  Place the empty melon half on a platter with the green side up.  Cut the various fruits into chunks or balls and place on the skewers.  Then stab the skewers into the watermelon... it will start to look like a big porcupine!!!

In a separate bowl, mix the marshmallow fluff and cream cheese for the fruit dip.  It is absolutely marvelous!!!!

Another recipe that my family likes is pretty easy... Manhattan Meatballs.

Prepare meatballs... you can buy them premade or look for a recipe online.

    Sauce:

    *1 cup of barbeque sauce

*24 ounces (2 jars) pineapple preserves

Mix together and pour over the meatballs.

    Good luck with the party!

Make miniature cream puffs and fill with ham/egg/chicken salad ....

  9. Sweet and Spicy Cocktail Meatballs

    INGREDIENTS:

1 pound ground beef (ground chuck recommended)

    1/2 pound Italian bulk sausage

    2 teaspoons kosher salt

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 teaspoons dried oregano, crushed between hands

2 teaspoons dried basil, crushed between hands

    1 egg lightly beaten

    2 garlic cloves, pressed

    2 Tablespoons tomato paste

    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese

2 Tablespoons heavy cream or milk

1 cup chunky hot salsa, jarred or homemade

1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam or preserves (sugar-free is fine)

    PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a large shallow baking pan with foil. Place a rack in the pan.

Combine ground beef, Italian sausage, diced onions, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, pressed garlic, egg, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan cheese, and cream.

    Spanakopita

    3 tablespoons olive oil

    1 onion, chopped

1/2 cup chopped green onions, greens and whites

    3 cloves garlic, minced

2 pounds baby spinach, trimmed, rough chopped

    1/2 lemon, juiced

    2 eggs, lightly beaten

    12 ounces crumbled feta cheese

1 tablespoon coriander seeds, toasted, ground

    1/2 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg

    1/2 pound unsalted butter, melted

    1 pound phyllo pastry sheets

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh oregano

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Add the spinach, season with salt and pepper, and continue to saute until the spinach is limp, about 2 minutes. Add lemon juice, remove from heat and place in a colander, and squeeze out excess liquid. Set aside to cool. The filling needs to be cool and dry to prevent the phyllo from becoming soggy. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with feta, coriander, and nutmeg. Season, then fold in the cooled spinach mixture until well blended.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brush 2 baking sheets with some melted butter. Unroll the phyllo dough and lay a sheet flat on a work surface. Take care to keep the phyllo covered with a damp, not wet, towel as you work to prevent drying out and becoming brittle. Brush the sheet with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with some oregano and chives. Repeat with 2 more sheets of phyllo, stacking on top of each other. With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the sheets lengthwise into thirds to form 2-1/2-inch strips. Do this with all the sheets of dough.

Place a heaping teaspoon of filling near 1 corner of the layered phyllo strip. Fold the end at an angle over the filling to form a triangle. Continue to fold the triangle along the strip until you reach the end, like folding up a flag. Brush the top with butter and dust with Parmesan, place on prepared baking sheet, and cover while preparing the remaining pastries. Repeat until all the filling and phyllo strips are used up. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the triangles are crisp and golden. Serve hot, warm or cold.

  10. Wow everyone has given you some great ideas and recipes..so I'm just gonna give you a little cheese dip recipe. Every time I have people over or we have "Pot luck" at work everyone always ask me to make this.

3  8oz pkg of Cream cheese (2 with chives and 1 plain)

    1 Cup Miracle Whip

    1 Cup Parmesan Cheese

1/2 cup Bacon ( I usually buy the Real Bacon bits that come in a 3 oz pkg)...and i use them all

Whatever you do...do not use bacon bits.

also, you can use just plain cream cheese and put your own chives in, but i find it much easier to use the cream cheese with the chives in it.

I serve with Wheat thin Crackers.

I usually have to make 2 batches because everyone wants to take some home with them. lol

    Enjoy, and Happy anniversary!!

They are easy to make in the oven and can be found all over "Google search."

Also, bacon wrapped chicken livers are great and easy to make. (Set them on a slice of water chestnut before wrapping, to keep the shape.)

Stuffed mushroom caps are also good.

    Just a couple of ideas.
