I need wedding favor ideas!?

I am having a chic southern style wedding reception (in October) and need some wedding favor ideas. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Think Harvest. A great recipe for pumpkin pie or some Southern dish that makes mouths water.  An instant cocoa package or apple cider recipe tucked in a mug with your photo or wedding date on it.  Food always is a hit.  A cozy scarf in the colors of your wedding with a little note attached "to warm your soul as your love has warmed ours."

I am doing a candy bar with a variety of different candy options people can just put in their bag (which I will supply) and take home with them. This way people can take what they want and leave what they don't. It sure beats a matchbook or something else people won't use. Candy bars become pretty popular and there are many different ways to put your own spin on things like this!

I love porcelain trinket boxes.  Try marylandchina.com.  You can get a gorgeous white or cream colored porcelain box with gold trim for under $3.00.  They are gorgeous.  My daughter in law bought them and filled them with sweets, and they were a big hit at the wedding.

I'm giving my guests small silver wedding bells with a personalized tag on the handle, and also bubbles for when I leave the church. I also am putting candy dishes on the reception tables for them.

i have seen some tiny straw hats at places like Michaels. you could put a little strip of lace around it, or a ribbon in your colors. Fill it w/ candy, tie it up w/ tulle, etc.

Once the ribbon/lace is on them, they remind me of the hats the Southern Belles wore back in the day.

Put together a musical compilation of your favorite love songs and put them on a cd for your guests.  The cover of the cd can be one of your engagement photos and you can tie a beautiful bow around the cd as you would on a gift box.
