  2. i don't know how much 11 stones is, but i only help people with stuff like this if i think they really do need help.  I've devoted the past 4-5 years of my life on the proper way to lose weight, because when I finish with college I want to go into the health field as a weight loss manager, and have people come to me for consultations.  to be honest, first big step is WATER.  cut out everything else but WATER when it comes to drinks.  no soda, no DIET soda, no coffee, no gatorade, nothing but water.  Eat big meals in the morning, and eat five tim es aday to keep your metabolism up.  if you just eat three times metablisioin slows down, but your five meals a day need to be smaller meals.  cut back at first to 1700 cals.  then go down after a month to 1500 cals a day.  if you want to keep this weight off, it is something you're going to have to do to for the rest of your life.  you cnan't diet a month, lose ten lbs, then go back to they you were and not gain all that weight back.  don't eat anything after five o clock.  drink lots and lots of water.  dont' weigh yourself everyday, it will depress you... plus some of that weight will probably be waterweight.  you can do it!

good luck! if you need anyt additional, e-mail me at ccoursey0002@kctcs.edu

i will help you if you want!

hopefully I will hear from you in the future!

    -peace out

  3. If you're not already you should be squeezing in some exercise with the weight watchers diet.  Diet without exercise is like a plane with one wing.  Together they are like two wings.  If you can be a little more active you could eat a little more frequently and you'll change your body composition because your metabolism will be faster.  I cut out beef and pork in favor of chicken and fish when loosing weight.  You might try drinking a full glass/bottle of water before each meal.  Water can make you feel fuller and is also good for your metabolism among other things.

  4. Really you just need to eat more healthy and don't buy into the "you can eat chocolate and lose 50 pounds!" stuff. Also exercise. If you're sitting around all day, you're more likely to eat. Take your kids or your dog for a walk. Ride your bike.

Drink water that will also help suppress cravings.

Keep a sign on your refrigerator to remind you not to snack constantly. Just keep your willpower... it will get easier if you really stick with it.

  5. you should try out this website www.loseweightnow.com it's great!

  6. To loose weight you need to change two main things about your life:

    How much/How often you exercise

    Your diet

It's healthy to work out at least 20 minutes everyday, and that means getting your heart pumping without slowing down for 20 minutes. This means you want to focus on cardio workouts such as running, jumping jacks, swimming, (etc.).

I've found that swimming works the best because you're using the most amount of muscles at the same time and because the water's cold, you're burning fat just to stay warm!

For different types of exercises you can go to http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/ sign up for free and you'll find a bunch of tips how to stay fit, including video demonstrations of specific workouts.

Secondly, your diet. Eating healthy alone will help you shed those pounds because your body will be forced to burn fat instead of store it.

Start by eating balanced meals that include protein, carbs, fiber, and as little fat as possible. Try not to over-do it on the carbs because carbs are energy and they get stored as fat pretty easy if you dont work it off. If you finish a balanced meal but you're STILL HUNGRY relax, this is natural we're just used to eating way too much. Go for some salad, fruit, or vegetables, because these things fill you up without weighing you down.

When you feel you need a snack, eat fruit. Apples are good, peaches are very sweet if you have a candy craving and the BEST is to make a smoothie. I usually put in some cherries, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes along with non-fat yogurt and ice (towards the end so it doesn't just end up as water).

This may seem hard at first but if you can do it for a week, it gets easier from there--trust me!

For more information on eating a balanced diet, you can visit http://www.mypyramid.gov/pyramid/index.h...

    Good luck!!

  7. I am from the US, so by my calculations you weigh about 160 lbs., which is not too bad for someone who has 5 kids.  So don't be so hard on yourself.  Just eat right and exercise it will come off!  Basically eat lots of chicken, tuna fish, sweet potatoes, brown rice, salads, and lots of other veggies (except white potatoes).

    Good Luck!
