  1. Well, I personally hate it when people put their chairs back.  It's bad enough that we're stuffed like sardines in a tin can on those stupid planes.  And then some idiot in front of you throws their seat back two inches so you can have even less space.  It's rude, it's illogical, it's annoying.  However I've never kicked the back of a chair because someone did it.  That's just as rude.  I honestly don't know how any of us can stand flying any longer...

  2. No its not enough room for people who are 5"2 trust me.   Well shes just being rude.   Your not wrong every one has a right to recline you paid for your ticket too.

  3. wellyou should have moved you seat even farther back and then called the air hostess to complain about the lady that she is bothering you :)

  4. Actually, reclining back all the way on an airplane when you know that the person behind you is really RUDE! I am 5'10" and I hate flying on airplanes just because of the jerks like you! There is nothing that we can do about our height, we should be able to sit somewhat comfortably without having our knees jammed up against the tray table! You on the other hand, do NOT need to recline your seat the whole way back, it is absolutely no need for you to do that, You should be more considerate of other people in this world, you are not the only person that matters! So, my advice is this ... Get a clue and some consideration for other people, you jerk!

  5. That's rude, if she was uncomfortable she could have handled the situation in a different way then to kick your seat.

  6. I DON'T KNOW! If you're not supposed to recline back all the way, why do you have the choice? I have always wondered this too. I always do. No one's ever kicked my seat, though. But, for some reason, I feel like they want to. . .

  7. I would tell her to shove it

  8. you should have forced her to join the Mile High Club

  9. You should be able to recline it has far as the seat will let you do. You should have complained and have the lady removed from behind you; sounds like she acted very childish.

  10. umm i have know idea what you just typed  can you please rephrase your question and type the words out  if you want the question answered properly thxs

if  i get what your asking your saying that she was kicking your chair cuz you had your chair back. well first off airplanes  do not have much leg room plus having long legs doesn't make it much better b/c i am 5'10 and i know how it feels not have any leg room on planes.

plus i don't think airplanes should have recliners b/c its not fair to the person sitting behind them.

i don't think she was trying to kick your sit on purpose  but i think she just wants some room to move around trying to single you to put your chair up.

i know airplane rides can be long and hard  and that you paid money for that seat and comforts but so did the person behind you. so you would want the same respect and not have someones chair in your section of the airplane its the nice thing to do well i hope this helps and made since.

  11. No. She should have been civilized and talked to you if it was bothering her.

  12. Depends how far it goes back. If you're not giving her room (regardless of size, there's not much of a way to know unless you're in their position) I don't see the problem.

Airplanes are cramped as it is, who wants to fly the distance with some jerk in front of you cutting off your (already limited) room.

  13. mayb she just needed more room l☺l

  14. I personally think that chairs in a plane shouldnt be reclined all the way back. Thats just plain rude. How would you react if someone did that to you?

A few centimeters is fine. but the whole way back is just over doing it.

She couldve been more mature, and asked you to move your chair instead of kicking it. Thats just childish

  15. The seat should be upright during take-offs and landings, but otherwise; you are allowed to recline.  She could also recline which would give her more room.  Sounds like she is just one of those fine people that we all run into throughout our days.  Usually in the car and we yell out, "A__HOLE!"

  16. i once flew on an airline where the flight attendant in uniform in front of me reclined all the way back during the whole flight.   she represented the company.   i was a paying passenger,   i head to eat mycrappy airline meal with HER headrest inches away from my face.   she should not have reclined the whole flight    very rude.

no its not justified, she may have been reading and you may have taken away some of her space.    we just cant think that total comfort is allowed to you when you are in cramped quarters for 3 hours.   compromise, move it back a little ways, not all the way.   hope this helps

  17. definetly not, if you weren't supposed to recline your chair that much they shouldn't make them so they can recline that much.

  18. No it's not right but you should always be aware of others and show respect by either asking them if its okay or just not inclining so far.  I have patellar tendinitis in my left knee and need to extend my knee every 20 min. and I travel to Poland (which is a 9 hr flight) a lot and I hate when people recline all the way and I'm forced to stand up and stretch.  It sucks so just be polite and ask.

  19. You should have complained to the staff on the plane and you should also complain to the airline.  Some airlines have consumer cards and they can pass on legitimate complaints on to the person that's annoying so they don't do it again.  I know someone that has been barred from an airline for being belligerent (I worked at an airport).

  20. There's a reason the chairs recline.  That woman was out of line.

  21. Being rude is never justified.  What ever happened to, "Excuse me, can you please lift your chair a little so I can have some more room?"

  22. Well, you do need to respect others' personal space. So, if you are invading her "bubble" you may not want to recline as far. However, kicking your chair was a very rude solution and she should apologize for you. But, I would leave it alone if it only happens once. If it continues, talk to her or call a flight attendent.

  23. Lets be honest. If you were the person that got a chair leaned back on you would kick it too haha but if i were getting my chair kicked i would probably have to bouce their head off wall haha. I am 6'4" so just try and be on a plane when you are that height haha
