Question:

I need your BEST cookie recipe for my class???

Ok well i am gonna make cookies for my third period class for this project, and i want a really good cookie recipe, preferably something without nuts, and not the nestle toll house cookie recipe either. Something extra delicious and good. I'm a good cook so if it's a bit complicated i could probably still cook it.

  2. Bear Cookie Pops (Cookie Mix)

    You’ll “bearly” get to ask, “What’s your favorite cookie?” and kids will pop up with these “beary” best cookie pops!

      

    Makes:12 cookie pops

      

    1 pouch (1 pound 1.5 ounces) Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    1 egg

    12 wooden sticks with rounded ends

    24 flat round candies (1/2 inch in diameter)

    12 Hershey®'s Kisses® milk chocolates, unwrapped

    1 tube (0.68) Betty Crocker® red decorating gel

    1. Heat oven to 375ºF. Stir cookie mix, oil and egg in medium bowl until soft dough forms.

    2. Shape dough into 12 balls, using 1 1/2 tablespoons dough for each. Place balls about 4 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Shape remaining dough into 24 balls, using 1 teaspoon dough for each.

    3. Insert stick into side of each large ball; place 2 small balls next to each large ball for ears. Press balls evenly until about 1/4 inch thick.

    4. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

    5. Add 2 flat candies on each cookie for eyes and 1 milk chocolate candy for nose, using gel to attach. Squeeze on gel for mouth.  


  3. My BEST cookie recipe has nuts, so instead, I'll give you this one, which is still quite nice.

    Bit of Lime Sugar Cookies

    2 cups sugar

    1 cup softened butter

    Zest of two limes

    ¼ cup fresh lime juice

    ½ tsp. vanilla extract

    2 eggs

    3¼ cup a/p flour

    1 tsp. kosher salt

    1 tsp. baking soda

    1 tsp. cream of tarter

    approx 1 cup superfine sugar

    In large bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add zest, juice, vanilla and eggs. Blend until smooth. Stir together flour, salt, soda, and cream of tartar. Add to egg mixture and blend well. Chill at least 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 325°. Line cookie sheets w/ parchment paper. Shape dough into 1" balls; roll in sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cookies should be slightly soft in center. Cool 3-5 minutes, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack and cook completely. Store in airtight container.

    NOTE: You can also sub lemon zest and juice for the lime.

    Cheesecake Cookies Recipe

    Ingredients

        * 5 tablespoons butter, softened

        * 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

        * 1 cup flour

        * 1/2 cup sugar

        * 1 (8 ounce) packet cream cheese, softened

        * 1 egg

        * 2 tablespoons milk

        * 1 tablespoon lemon juice

        * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Directions

       1. Heat oven to 350.

       2. In a medium bowl blend thoroughly butter, brown sugar and flour with a fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

       3. Put 1 cup of the mixture aside for topping.

       4. Press remaining mixture into an 8x8x2 inch baking dish sprayed lightly with cooking spray; bake for 15 minutes.

       5. In another bowl combine sugar and cream cheese, mixing until smooth.

       6. Thoroughly beat in egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.

       7. Spread over the baked crust and sprinkle with remaining brown sugar mixture.

       8. Bake for 25 minutes.

       9. Let cool, then chill for at least 1 hour.

      10. Cut into 16 squares; serve.

    Butterscotch shortbread cookies.

    1/4 cup butter

    1/4 cup shortening

    1/4 cup brown sugar

    2 tablespoons granulated sugar

    1 cup plus 2 tablespoons gold medal all purpose flour

    1/4 tablespoon salt

    1. Heat oven to 300F, In large bowl,beat butter,shortening and sugars with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy, or mix with spoon. Stir in flours and salt (Dough will be dry and crumbly, use hands to mix completely)

    2.On lightly covered surface, roll dough into 9x6 inch rectangle. Cut into 11/2 inch squares. On ungreased cookie sheet, place squares about an inch apart.

    3.Bake about 25 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack;cool.Makes 2 dozen cookies.

    Just because they dont involove chocolate chips doesnt mean they taste bad so please give these a chance!

    4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

    2 teaspoons baking soda

    2 cups butter, softened

    1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

    1/2 cup white sugar

    2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant  vanilla pudding mix

    4 eggs

    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    4 cups semisweet chocolate

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.

    2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

    3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
