I own a window cleaning company. If I am dropping of fliers on the doors of houses what percentage should I expect to respond to my advertisements?

I know there is no way to tell for sure but a guesstimate would be great! Thanks for your response.

  1. Although flyers are a less expensive way to try and generate business, you really need to bite the bullet and do some actual advertising in a local paper. This is where people look for services. If you really can't afford advertising, at this point, try placing posters in local mom and pop stores. And make sure these posters are well done and not just hand-written poster boards. Your personal computer has software built in to make a nice-looking poster. And make sure you leave

    your phone number!! Little tear-aways with the name of your company and the phone number are especially convenient and almost guarantees customers will rip one off and place it in their wallet (if your service is needed).

  2. i usually throw away any filers that are on my doors... if i need window cleaning, i just look on yellowpages..

  3. Usually 1% responses is considered good. But it all depends on your pitch on the flier and the promotions you are offering. If you want I can critique you're flier for you if you email me...
