O.K. So I kind of just started in the acting/modeling 'business' about 5 months ago. I got my headshots, resume, comp card. We started sending into different agencies and so far I have gotten signed with 3. (Non-exclusively) So, this one agent called and asked if I would like to make a voice-over tape. My mom and I were shocked, because I thought I was more of a model than an actress, but on Thursday I'm going to get one done. It's a great thing to have, and I really want to do it. What should I expect when I go there to tape? Does anyone here actually have a voice-over tape, and can give me some advice on how to do great? I've been listening to commercials on, like Disney Channel because I thought that might help. (I'm 13 by the way.) Thanks in advance!

  1. Just be really energetic, but not too over-the-top. Make sure you pronounce everything really clearly and correctly. That's about all you need to do. Good luck!

  2. oh it's really easy, i've done a lot of voice over tape commercials, it's fun, i've done commercials for att&t, cel phones u name it. just be yourself, and be confident.

  3. You have likely been ripped over. Voice over taping is used for p**n films.

Since you only got offers from 3 agencies, it means you aren't as gorgeous as you thought you were.

If an agency offered you voice-over instead of real modeling opportunities, it means you have a face for radio. Im sorry to have revealed the truth.

  4. why didn't you ask your agent what it would be like? Duh!
