I need your comments ideas on this poem!?!?

This poem is for a dedication ceremony we are having at our local green house this poem our troop made up please help if any changes need to be made i do appreciate it.

2-4-6-8

We are the girls of

troop 8-1-9-8.

We think girl scouting

is really great.

We are proud to be brownie scouts.

We have learned what i'ts

all about.

We have learned the scouting Law and Promise.

We like making crafts, learning about safety, and helping when we are needed.

A Brownie scout always does her best

to help her scouting sisters and her family.

You can find Brownie scouts all around

the world.

Anyone can be a Brownie -

you just have to be

a girl!!

First, I would just like to point out that three of you above me are just MEAN!! (Nitro Gen wasn't mean at all)

This poem was written by children for crying out loud!! I think they did a wonderful job in expressing how much they like their troop...and if they need more help, or if they feel like they want to change anything, just let me know. I will help in any way I possibly can. ;-)

This sounds too disjointed (even for 8 years old).  The 2-4-6-8 at the beginning adds nothing at all.   Then you are okay up until  you complete the line about Law and Promise - after that it  needs work.  Go back to the drawing board and work on the remaining.  Break up into groups to get ideas for the last couple of paragraphs.
