This article was developed with the aim of amplify the knowledge on the linguistic phenomenon of Interlanguage, pointing out its effects for the teaching and English's learning as a foreign language, mainly in what it refers to the phonology. The importance of the transference is investigated by the study of IL, and a brief study of case is, besides bringing the error concept in the perspective of IL and the implications for the teaching of FL, where a study of case, under the phonological perspective is presented and analyzed. Finally, we point out the treatment of errors that are examined as attempts of reaching new directions in the learning of the TL.
