Hi there I just bought a new Fujifilm Finepix s8000fd - I don't know a lot about cameras but I'm sure that this camera is all blurry :( It retail's up to $599 NZD ($445 USD), I brought it online from a shop in Auckland for a little less, Do you think this image is up to spec for a camera in that price range? please also enlarge image to full crop by clicking on it, thank you for your feedback :)

  1. that is very poor quality, if you want a great camera for under 400 us dollars try the sony cyber shot h50!! I own it and love it

  2. :|

its really, really, really, bad quality.

  3. You have been sold a dud.

There is something majorly wrong with that camera - possible a broken sensor or a fault with the lens. I suggest you try to get your money back - if you can't get your money back, good luck with the repair bill!

Sorry to say it, but this is why I don't buy anything other than my weekly shopping on the internet.

  4. From your image's EXIF information...

You used Auto mode and, due to the indoor lighting conditions, the camera used an ISO of 800. The higher the ISO, the more noise and artifacts you will get. For best image quality you need to keep your ISO as low as possible...but you can't use a low ISO in low light conditions (hand-held) unless you use a flash.

if I were you, I would return it...it's not one of Fujifilm's better cameras.

  5. sorry to say but that's totally waste of your money, i guess u can visit some expert for tuning your camera settings, that might help in the end..
