  1. Go to your local grocery store, buy some yummy cookies.

    Once you have paid for them, the kind person at the checkout will, most likely, give you a pretty piece of paper with lots of squiggles on them. These are called words.

    Combined, they make up the receipt you are looking for. They will act as the perfect reminder of what you bought, where you bought them and how much they cost.

    All that for FREE!!

  2. easy and delicious

       *   225 g butter

        * 200 g white sugar

        * 1 egg

        * 335 g all-purpose flour

        * 2 g salt

        * 10 ml vanilla extract

       1.   In a large bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Cover dough, and chill for at least one hour. Chill cookie sheets.

       2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Press dough out onto ungreased, chilled cookie sheets.

       3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly golden at the edges. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.

    ** anything else can be added, choc chips, nuts, coconut etc

  3. My mother used to make these biscuits when I was little, now I bake them for myself and they still taste as great!

    1/2 cup cold butter or margarine

    3/4 cup milk

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 tablespoon baking powder

    1 teaspoon salt

    Honey spread

    1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

    1/4 cup honey

    Cinnamon spread

    1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

    3/4 cup sugar

    1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

    1. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. With a fork, stir in milk until the mixture forms a ball.

    2. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead five to six times. Roll to 1/2-in. thickness; cut with biscuit cutter with any shape you like.

    3. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. For honey spread, combine butter and honey in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth. For cinnamon spread, combine butter, sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth. Serve with the warm biscuits.

    These biscuits are easy to make, the hardest part is kneading which isn't any real difficulty actually and they go perfectly well with either honey or cinnamon spread. Hope you like it :))))))))))))))))
