i found this dress and found it to be beautiful but i would like other peoples opinions..

You're not going to get too much from a picture. You should really try it on and take your bridesmaids with you for honest opinions.

Regular clothes and especially wedding dresses fit everyone differently. So what may seem nice in the photo could look completely different on you, and then again it might look even better. Bottom line - you have to try it on.

Also - consider that everyone answering has a different taste and style of wedding that they would have for themselves. So you also have to ask yourself what YOU actually like and want and not worry about others' opinions. Of course - if everyone tells you that it's ugly I may still listen. haha.

It's very pretty... If you like it, you should get it.  Who cares what other people think?  It's your day and you should be in the dress you love, not what you think other people are going to love.

Honestly, it looks outdated in a bad way. It's not very current as far as styles are concerned but it's also not classic and timeless. It looks like something work in the 80's or early 90's.

It's absolutely gorgeous!!! Just make sure that you will like how it looks once the cathedral train is removed! :)

If you love it then you should wear it.  I, personally, do not like halter dresses or seaming/buttons/rosettes down the back and down the train.  The lace is lovely though as well as the skirt silhouette.

it's pretty...but you need to try it on. From the looks of it, I bet that one weighs a ton. But a halter is always a good idea-just make sure it doesn't chafe your underarms on the sides, and make sure you can really move in it-and really pay attention to how heavy that cathedral train makes it. And try the dress on with a variety of their petticoats. The David's Stylist will always give you a giant ballgown petticoat, because it fluffs the dress out most-but I found I was most comfortable in their A line skirt-I didn't feel as much like a cake in a less puffy underskirt.

Good luck! When you wear it, you'll be able to tell if it's for you or not...you'll either feel like yourself, or you won't. And on that surreal day, you want a dress that makes you still feel like yourself (just a super-fabulous version of you!).

not my style, I think it looks a little dated. That may be because of the gloves. I really do not like it.

I don't love it.  I like the halter top though.  Hate the lacey detailing.  But I don't like a lot of detailing.  Just my opinion though.  If you love it then get it!

I think it's a beautiful dress, but you'll need to try it on to see if it works for you.  Also keep in mind that with a big, complicated dress, you'll need someone to help you use the bathroom.  (Something I didn't think about at my first wedding until the need arose!)

That gown is absolutely GORGEOUS! It's very similar to what I had, but I had long sleeves and a scoop neck. I love the lace, the train - and especially the basque waist and how flowy the skirt falls. It's very flattering.

And for a dress that fancy, a very good price!

That dress is phenomenal on. ( I just went and tried it on this past Saturday). The only complaint..it fits certain body types better. It definitely gives you curves, but fits a longer torsoed person better. But dont listen to me, its great. go try it on!

Don't judge a dress by the hanger.  Try it on - you'll know.  I spent sooo much time shopping for gowns.  The one I finally got, I put it on and it fit like a glove, and everyone said "wow!"  Use the website to get ideas, but wait until you try it on.  You may love it you may hate it.

This dress is very formal… If you are planning a formal wedding and you have tried it on and like it go for it. My thought on a halter top is that they are a little dated. Lace Halter tops were very popular about 10 years ago. The wedding dress really sets the mood for the whole wedding and this dress is beautiful but not elegant or modern. If you have not tried it on yet, go try it on. You will know immediately when you finally find the right dress. Good Luck and best wishes on your wedding.

You have to see how you like it after you try it on.  I think its too pricey and you can probably find something similar and of the same or better quality on ebay.  I found my $3000 Jim Hjelm gown for $250.

It is a beautiful dress, but the most important thing is that YOU love it!  The old adage that you'll know the right dress when you see it generally holds true.  To be safe you could keep looking, but if this is the right dress for you I think you'll come back to it in the end.  :-)
