  1. Think of one yourself! Geez, get creative and don't ask people to get creative for you.

  2.      Think of a character.  Say, a lady who lives by herself.  She never talks much to other people.  Just "Good morning" or "Good evening."  Why is she on her own?  Why does she seem so lonely?  What's happened in her life to make her this way?  One day, you manage to strike up a conversation with her.  Nothing much comes of that, but she takes a liking to you.  She asks you round again, and this time she tells you a secret.  What is it?  Take it from there.

    Good luck

    Mike B

  3. maybe just a book about a girl going though the pain of growning up as a teenager.

    as in

sibilings. i fight with my brother ALOT

    back talking to your parents.

    whats "in"

    going though middle school

    its NOT that easy.

every other book is about high school

    middle school is also something.

you have the transaction from girl to women (if you get me)

you have a lot of changes then.

you can have a book about that.

i think that would be cool

and if you wanna use is.

email me. and ill FULLY explain

  4. How about...

    THINK OF ONE YOURSELF!

Well, I'm bored, so I give in. I'll help.

    It starts with...and then...uh...

    d**n it. I can't think of anything.

Why don't you write about a person on the street and what you think their life is like?

Edit: High Five, My Mind Stays Undecided!

  5. write about some boy or girl who face danger by going into a dangerous world and then use ur imagination

  6. Ever write sci-fi?  Consider taking an acknowledged paradigm and setting it in the future, so that you can invoke a societal perspective different from those of today.

A love triangle, perhaps.  How might the morality of romance and associated concepts be differently viewed if our society continues to develop along the path it is taking?

  7. Think of a story or event you know about, and tell it from a different perspective. Tell the story of Paul Revere's ride through the eyes of Thomas Newton (the guy who hung the lanterns in the steeple), for example. Or you can write a story about an author who can't think of a story, and maybe gets inspiration from an unlikely person or place. Maybe there is a guy she can't stand that suddenly (either intentionally or unintentionally) gives her an idea. And she has to start hanging around him to keep her inspiration coming, even though she can't stand him. Good Luck!

  8. A comedian who has an extremely bad day. Great room for snappy, entertaining come-backs, and it's sure to be a page turner.

  9. Well, ray Bradbury says he just lists a series of nouns, and once he's done brainstorming, he picks one out of the list and sees where it takes him. Ex: The Ravine, the Skeleton, the Carnival. All of these eventually became titles and inspiration for some of his most famous stories.

David Morrell (man who created Rambo) has a written conversation w/ himself. that's how he eliminates writer's block.

He also writes that the only thing u need for a story is conflict. His formula is "plot= conflict + motivation". that's all there is to it. Someone has a desire--doesn't matter how trivial--and someone or something else tries to stop them from achieving it.

It's just that simple. a man wanting to paint a house can be as compelling as a woman wanting to be the first astronaut to land on Mars so long as you dramatize how important the goal is to that person.

most other good stories start w/ a secret that someone is trying to not reveal. think up a secret that someone told you, fictionalize it, then write about it. change any telling characteristics, of course. or just come up w/ something that if it happened to you, you would want to keep secret
