I need your imaginations!

Question

For a book I'm writing, there is going to be a race of elves, and fairies. What would be a cool mark to have on their palms, to distinguish them as fairies or elves?

For fairies, I was thinking of maybe a star-lily. It is a blue flower that looks like a star. Sound cool?

What do you guys think?

For the eleves draw an E then draw a backwards L threw the middle the put a triangle around it

And maybe a leaf on the elves palm

i like your idea very much i would go with the fairy idea but for the elfs you can have a cirlce symboling something ,
