I need your knowledge , my husband received a private call he din`t answer the caller kept on calling?

about 3 times , I asked why he din`t answer , his answer was . is a private caller if they want me to answer they should have their number showing. The thing is this happened the other day again and he din`t answer the call and than he told me (without me asking ) it was his friend Jack calling him with a private number. I don`t wanna sound like a jealous paroniad wife but I thought it was odd his behavior.

To my knowledge, this could be many possible scenarios. Of course, your first impression on this situation would be that your husband having an affair or what. But not necessarily. It could be some other issues. For example, he might borrow money and debtors chasing. Ok. Let me list down some possible scenarios:

1. Some pranks must have been troubling him for no reason.

2. Sale/marketing people must have been chasing him for a deal.

3. Your husband may be having an affair.

4. Your husband borrowed money and not returned yet. So the debtor must have been chasing.

Except for point #3, and 4, other cases are not alarming. I would suggest that you talked to your husband on your concerns openly and discussed with him.

If I were you, I might not just accept that "because it is a private call". But also depend on your husband's characteristic. For example, if your husband like privacy, then, it could be that he genuinely will not want to pick up any unwanted calls.

You may want to add a block on your phone where the number must be visible to come thru. So when someone calls from a private number, they'll hear a recording that tells them that your phone will not accept calls from private numbers
