Question:

I need your opinion on these twin girl names? ?

I keep seeing the name Madelie pop up on here and I really like it. What do think? I'm having twin girls, and one will be Heidi-Charlotte, and the other was going to be Elizabeth-Fiona, but i'm reconsidering.

What about Heidi-Charlotte and Madelie-Fiona? We want hyphend first names, and we're aren't changing that. They won't have to go by both names, they can choose one. It will probably get shortened.

Madelie is pronounced Mad-ah-lee.

And I was thinking for middle names Heidi-Charlotte December and Madelie-Fiona Kate, but no one likes December, except for me, and my boyfriend isn't in love with it.

So if you could give me middle name ideas, but no fillers like Lynn, Rose, Marie, Anne, Leigh, etc...

HYPHENED FIRST NAMES STAY.

Thanks!

  1. I LOVE THOSE NAMES. end of story.

First off, Heidi-Charlotte is gorgeous. I'm very partial to it.

Second, Madelie has been one of my favorite names for a very long time. You read my mind. And I have a friend name Fiona, I love that name. Also they flow well. I love the hyphenated names.

    Heidi-Charlotte December

    Madelie-Fiona Elliott

    I really like those. Alot.

  2. Sorry just dont like any of those...

But good luck on your babies

  3. i happen to think carly and jessica is a cute name for twins and also jillian and madison and lauren and jenna so hope this helps

  4. I personally don't like the name Fiona.

    Baby 1: Heidi-Charlotte

    Baby 2: Felicity-Kate

Maybe Madelie for a middle name.....my kids are emily grace and alyssa rose, but as you said, no fillers....

  5. I really like Madelie!!!

    I would like Heidi-Charlotte Elise

    Heidi-Charlotte Sophia

    Heidi-Charlotte Leah

    Heidi-Charlotte Linnea

    Heidi-Charlotte Eleanora

    and:::

    Madelie-Fiona Skye

    Madelie-Fiona Kate

    Madelie-Fiona Elise

    Madelie-Fiona Love

    Madelie-Fiona Eden

  6. I don't like any of them. Heidi is outdated as is charlotte and fiona.  Hyphenated names?  They'll hate you later for that as their classmates will think them weird.  Madalie - i kept thinking Madaline - it's very close and it'll probably be mispronouned over and over again.  It's ultimately your children and your decision.

  7. I like Heidi-Charlotte. Not to keen on Elizabeth-Fiona, I like Madelie-Fiona better. I prefer Madelyn or Madeline.

  8. Madelie-Fiona and Elizabeth-Charlotte..............I don't like Heidi because it makes me think "high-dee-ho" or whatever that saying is.  I dunno that's my opinion.

  9. Why not Madelie-Elizabeth Alayne (could also be spelled Elaine) or Madelie-Elizabeth Katharine (Madelie-Kate Lynette)

    Heidi-Charlotte Nicole

    Heidi-Charlotte Lynette

    Heidi-Charlotte Katharine

    Heidi-Charlotte Sophia (Think Charlotte Sophia)

  10. I like Heidi-Charlotte Kara and Madelie-Fiona Kate. I like the short middle names since the names are so long.

  11. Hilda and Blanche are cool names

  12. i would definitively go with madelie over elizabeth. you seem to try to give different names and elizabeth is sooo normal. perhaps instead of december something like grace, or paige.

  13. Madalie, to me, sounds like a kid with a lisp saying Natalie.  Which is my name.  I like Natalie better, sorry.

I don't know if Heidi is particularly special to you - of the two (ElizabethFiona and HeidiCharlotte) I think it's the dowdier name.  It doesn't flow very prettily and, well, it's just not great.

Natalie-Charlotte and Elizabeth-Fiona are better to me.

Yeah, December isn't so hot for me either.  It's a little cheesy and weird

    I prefer these names:

    Natalie-Charlotte Mae//Lucia

    Elizabeth-Fiona Eleanor

But here are some middle names for your original names:

    Madelie-Fiona Elise

    Heidi-Charlotte Amelia

EDIT:  I see from your notes you are rather stuck on Heidi.  Oops.  Too late now, I suppose.

  14. I think Madelie is a very nice name. Heidi-Charlotte is very nice, but I don't think that Fiona goes nicely with Madelie:

    Madelie-Jade

    Madelie-Samaire

    Madelie-Elle

    Madelie-Belle

    Madelie-Grace

I really like December as a middle name for Heidi-Charlotte, but if your boyfriend doesn't like it then here are some possible suggestions:

    Heidi-Charlotte Alycia

    Heidi-Charlotte Samaire

    Heidi-Charlotte Liandra

    Heidi-Charlotte Meagan

Madelie-Fiona Kate is fine, but I'm still not keen on the name Fiona.

Anyway, the decision is ultimately yours, but I hope I have helped.

Good luck with choosing a name!

  15. I think Madelie is really pretty, I have never heard it before.

I really love Rosalie as a name or Lilly-Rose. I just find my favourite names and figure out which names go together best.

  16. i like the name sounds like malady so i don't like it and besides that Madeline and Maddison is really popular right now and the shortened form or Madelie is Maddie same with Madeline and Maddison (so when she goes to school she will be know by her last name)

so i think Heidi-Charlotte Natalie  and Fiona-Elizabeth Kathleen  would be cute

  17. I checked out your profile because moms-to-be occasionally state their due dates and I wanted to know if the girls were going to be born in December. Anywho, that last part of the info about you...THAT'S ME!! Lol, I mean I can totally relate. Sorry about that, but it just had to be said. So, now...I don't comprehend why people don't like the name December! To avoid potential teasing, though, I would definitely go with this name only if she were born in December - it's a very pretty name. Other months used as names I like are April, June, September, and August isn't bad (for boys, I mean.)

I keep going off-track...I like the name Heidi-Charlotte very, very much! This is an adorable name, and that's such a creative idea you had for your daughters to choose which name they'd like to go by. As for the name Madelie, I must apologize - I do not care very much for this name. I do think a cute alternative would be 'Natalie.' Would you consider that? Also, I like the name Fiona quite a bit, and the name Kate is really just okay to me, in all honesty.

Finally, to assist you with other middle names for the name Natalie-Fiona, and I hope you don't mind I did this, I really only like...Violet or Scarlette/Scarlet. I really, REALLY like the sound of both of these names, and I don't think I could choose between them if I had to! Although, I am leaning a bit more toward the name Natalie-Fiona Scarlette...what do you think?

  18. heidi-charlotte doesn't flow well..

    how about heidi-anne

    madelie-rae
