I need your opinion on this snowboard?

Question

I am looking at buying this snowboard. I am a beginner and plan to just shred the mountain , not any jumps or rails yet.

Do you think this is a good board and bindings for me? It is the right size and right size bindings. I am size 13 snowboard boots.

What do you think of the brand Avalanche , I only know it is German.

I think it sounds like a good beginner board.  Good price too.  Avalanche is an entry-to-mid  level board.  I think it would be good for a beginner.  You dont want to spent too much on a beginner board because as soon as you develop your riding style you will want a board specific to that style.   In short -  I would buy it.  Hope that helped.

I was actually looking at those boards too.  They have that exact board at Big 5, and after looking at it closely, I decided not to get it.  

Big 5 also carries Lamar boards, which I've heard can be a great, cheap board for beginners.  Some people love them, some people hate them.  I noticed that most of the people that hate them are very experienced.  Though they all agree that it can get the job done.  

So basically, I'd go for a Lamar over an Avalanche.
