Try doing a slower kind of pop song.

PS Don't record with the TV on in the background. It distracts us from your beautiful voice.

What was on your TV(jk)?But try doing something mellow like you were but tone it down a bit-your voice was overpowering its a great song choice but keep the volume down.Other than that it was great I'm no chorus student but you've got an amazing voice.
