I currently work a a job getting paid $8.00 an hour and get 33 to 37 hours a week. (8 to 5) I don't get health insurance or paid holidays or anything I do however have an amazing boss whom if I don't have a babysitter lets me bring my kids to work, he also lets me go to all of there school parties, events and dr. appointments.

I got a an good job offer today of stating pay $10.25 an hour and working 45 hours a week (9 to 7).And full benefits! They wouldn't be as flexible with my kids as my current job, however Right now I currently stare at a computer screen for 8 hours a day and don't interact with anyone, i'm a people person so this is hard for me not to mention the headaches i have everyday when I come home!!!! So bottom line is the extra money would be great bc we just got a new car and we are so broke ~ it would help us so much! but the longer hours would be hard because of my children. (they are 6, 4, and 11 months) Please help me.....what would you do?

  1. I would probably take the new job if had childcare to cover the hours.  The benefits alone make it a better financial deal.  Sometimes you have to make the hard choices in life and trading flex hours for full benefits sounds like the smarter decision.  Sure, it's nice to be able to be there for your kids' events but providing health care is way more important in my book.

    Good luck.

  2. To Be honest,It will take a little time to find the answer for the question of yours.have a look at the resource here for your reference .http://health-insurance.tips4free.info/h...

  3. Tell your boss that you have another job offer paying more with benefits.  If he wants to keep you, he will match your salary.  If he doesn't care, take the new job.

  4. I think you should take it because in the end your family is going to benefit from the extra money and the benefits your new job is offering. especially since your not getting any type of raise from your current job

  5. If you have adequate child care for when you are not home then I would take the job.Especially since you have been praying.GOD-bless

  6. I would approach your boss one more time and ask him to write u up a new contract stating the new pay rise into it simple as that and tell him u want it to strat immediately and that you can only give him a few days to get it done as ur not going to take false promises from him anymore explain u need the new job as its financially better for you and u need the cash to survive, in the meantime accept the other job with the more cash! tell them you can start in a week or sos time that gives u time to try to sort out a baby sitter for ur kids someone hopefully u can rely on plus this gives u time to see if ur old boss will pull through with the new contract and payrise for u, it doesnt have to be a totally new contract he can just add in the new pay by law ur entitled to paid holidays etc seems to me ur old boss is taken the mick out u Id leave and better yourself at the new place! go for it!!!
