I neeeeed hellp superr fast !?

Question

I was on the house computer and i went to click on a site and then this virus protection data software popped up and said a virus has been found on the computer and then everything like froze. when i exed outta everything it changed my wallpaper to a blue and said something about software. i retstarted the computer and now i cant get logged in, when i click on my user name and type in my password it says warning something about a virus or something. Im on my sisters laptop now and i really need to know how too fix this but i cant get on the house computer at all to do anything cause it wont let me get logged in

You need to reformat your harddrive and install a fresh new copy of windows. Thats what happens when you have no idea what viruses can do.

People already told you but yeah safe mode works, use that, and if that doesnt work, reformat, unless your trying to hide this from parents or something, in which case, your screwed

btw, dont use safe mode if you dont know what your doing, you can really f things up like that.

The guy from above dexter_k... was very well said. I would say the very same thing to boot your computer in save mode. If you can successfully got yourself in safe mode, you don't need to reinstall the computer.

On top of what he suggest, I also suggest you to restore your system. What you do is

a. Click "Start" on your Window,

b. click programs.

c. Click Accessories,

d. Click System Tools,

e. Click system restore.

f. Choose restore system to prior date - if you suspect your computer was infected two days ago, then you should restore your Window 4 days ago,

g. After you have successfully restore your Window, then download free anti-virus program and have your computer protected.

h. Try not to download suspicious free software or visit unknown websites.

First download Spybot search and destroy on the infected computer and install it. You can get it here

Then disable system restore and restart in safe mode.

Do a full system scan and remove and infected files.

Try booting your computer in safe mode.

To do that hold F8 while booting your computer and then select from the list "Safe Mode"

Then log in with your user name or with the administrator account and scan your computer using your anti virus program and anti spyware program. If you don´t have a anti virus or a anti spyware select "Safe Mode with networking"
