I let some weeds overgrow my hostas and now I just tried to transplant them and they are looking pretty sad. Will they come back?

  1. next year they will be back good as new

  2. Hostas are one of the the hardiest plants. I found they like finely ground dry dog food. I just put some in the ground next to it and they take off like wild fire. They are primarily a shade plant but some of mine are in a partially sunny place. Because of this once the flowers die the leafs start to brown. I just cut them back to the ground and in a month they are back up and blooming again at least till fall.

  3. nothing to worry about

  4. Sure.  The more I neglect My Hostas, the better they seem to grow.  They should be ok soon, if not, They will greet You next Spring!

  5. With a vengeance. They just need some time to adjust to the new soil and change in sunlight. By next season they should be as hardy as ever.

  6. well if you never let that happen!!  i have them to and their flowering ryt now, they will survive, there hardy!!

  7. oh sure, they are hardy little buggers.

give them some plant food and water regularly and they will be fine
