  1. Greetings, I am 50+ years old and have been doing crafts since I was a toddler, mom and grandmother also do/did crafts.

In all that time I get bored with one craft and go to another, I have been like that all my life.  And it's not odd, I have found that if I get bored I have to finish what I am working on or it will never get finished [last year I ran across two bags filled with over 50 sock monkeys! Most of the only needed their eyes to be done.... I had to pitch them for I had started them before I ever had children and my oldest is over 30!]

I would like to say that is normal to get bored for everyone I have ever talked to that has been doing crafts for any time at all say the same thing.

  2. As long as you're not wasting money or stuff, I wouldn't worry about it.  I change hobbies a lot simply because I like learning new things.

  3. no, but my dad is. it's like he has a different hobby every week

  4. I'm easily Bored ...so I like to change hobbies too

;)))))) Then I'll go back to hobbies that I have done in the past ;))))))))))))

  5. There is nothing wrong with you unless you don't finish at least one article in each hobby you try on.

You would be very surprised at the number of UFOs most crafts people have stacked up within their craft stashes!!

UFO is a UnFinished Object. WIP is a Work In Progress. Stash is the amount of supply we have for making our crafts projects.

I have a whole bedroom devoted to past crafting activities and my granddaughter thinks I should get into beading??? With those little tiny Delica beads??

I have a complete set of knitting needles, the jump needles, counting rings, etc; all the crochet hooks anyone could ever want; embroidery stuff, Spinning Wheels, weaving looms, Sewing machines, etc.

Now I am back to collecting neat kitchen gadgets. My latest acquisition is a bread machine!! Took 2 weeks for me to learn how to use it very nicely.

By the time you have grown up, you will have the ability to do almost any craft you want. You will have the basic knowledge!!
