I no everyone talkes about ireland but what about NORTHERN IRELAND???

Hasn't anyone heard of it??? I live there and all the americains (AND SOMETIMES EVEN THE ENGLISH) havent heard of it. No, its not like northern england or nothern wales. Northern Ireland is a completely different country than Ireland. just in case ur wonderin I am half Northern Irish and half Indonesian OK please answer lol cuz im such a loner........

we went to county antrim in october.we used to live in dublin,all my family live in ireland.so we visit regular,but when in the north we had a gas time,we visited giants causway,that was wounderful, and the bushmills whisky.distilery. food and accomondation was fab,stayed in smugglers rest,for a week,loved it.

I'm Irish. From Dublin, so you'd know. When I tell epople in Europe I'm Irish, they invariably talk of Belfast, and the Troubles. It seems you are lucky and don't come across these people.

I can't imagine any British people will not know the difference between Northern Ireland & Ireland.

I say "British" because not all people in Britain are English as your questions insinuated! THAT is something Americans (& now yourself) get wrong!

Be glad you're not Welsh, because the EU left them off a map of Europe. I don't think Northern Ireland will exist in 60 years time though because political momentum
