I noticed sometthing when tottenham play formation wise ?

when they play they play a 4-4-2 and modric plays next to jenas but isn't modric a playmaker and tottenham should be playing something like a 4-3-1-2 and modric behind the two strikers

Maybe they are trying to create a degree of contrast and separation between the two. Maybe they think it will open up some lanes for Modric or something. Strange though... i don't know if i agree with a 4-3-1-2 though. Interesting concept but would it break through stronger defenses with even more thought out ideas? Who knows really.

Spurs would be very fortunate to stay even in 6th or 7th out this year with Man City close on their tails.

Jenas and Modric can't play together in the middle because they were more attacking type so Zokora must also play. They have no choice to play 4-5-1.
