Question:

I now play volleyball and the spandex is not pretty on me...

I am thick, not really fat, but i want my legs to be toned... i never played volleyball before and when I made it I found out I had to wear spandex. I need my thighs to be toned in the spandex and FAST!! also if something works for the butt to make it tighter, that helps toooo.

  1. Well for one...look around...a lot of girls probably look like you lol.

    At first i was self conscious about spandex,,,but now i love them. (although i don't think they are necessary to play vball)

    Squats, Lunges, Jump rope, calf raises and riding the bike will tone your legs.

    Also doing every day stuff helps to. skip a step whenever you go up the stairs to make your butt look good. Do calf raises while you brush your teeth etc.

  2. -Go running at least 3x a week.. It will work and make your legs muscular and not flabby.

    -Calf raises for the lower legs

    -Squats

    -Lunges--->how

    Stand holding dumbbells at your sides with your feet about a hip width apart. Step forward with one foot - when the foot hits the floor bend it and lean forward so that your other leg bends towards the floor.

    These will help you tone your legs in NO time..

    I had the same problem, and ran everyday, and did those exercises and i am now not embarrassed!
