Your question is very broad, but I'll try to give you some information.

Americans tend to be very wealthy compared to the people in some other countries. Starvation is extremely rare, and more likely caused by parental neglect than poverty. Almost everyone has a television and most have an automobile.

Americans tend to be more religious than people in Europe. Elections tend to put the religious against the not religious or the very religious against the moderately religious. A substantial portion of the country attends church every week.

The US is a highly capitalist country. Taxes are low compared to some other countries, but so are the social services offered. Americans are expected to pay for their own medical care, and college, which are very expensive. Elderly peoplereceivee a paycheck from the government, but it is small, and they may have problems affording the things they need.

The US is a large country, so the geography varies depending where you are. In the farthest north, there is Alaska, where you will likely have to wear a jacket in the middle of summer and winter snowfall is several feet deep. Alaska is home to tall mountains. In the farthest south, there is Hawaii, where you can go swimming year-round. Hawaii is home to volcanoes. On the east and west coastlines there are a lot of people. A couple of hundred miles in from the coastlines there are mountains. The center of the country is largely flat farmland. There are deserts in the southwest US.

The west coast is prone to earthquakes, wildfires, and there is a volcano in the north. The southeast is usually hit by several hurricanes a year. The central area is known as Tornado Alley because of the frequency of tornadoes.

The people on the West Coast and in the Northeast tend to be a mix of different cultures. They are usually highly educated, well-paid, and not very religious. The poorer people in these regions usually live in the cities, which are high in crime.

The southern states have a large population of Hispanic immigrants. Spanish is spoken often here. Hispanics tend to be less educated, Catholic, and politically liberal. In the southwest, the non-Hispanics tend to be somewhat educated and not particularly religious. In the southeast, the non-Hispanic whites tend to be somewhat educated, very religious, and politically conservative. The southeast is also home to a large number of African Americans (blacks) who were enslaved there 150 years ago. They tend to be less educated, very religious, and politically liberal.

The eastern half of the central part is known as the Midwest. There is a large farming community here. The vast majority of people are of Western European descent. They are usually somewhat educated, somewhat religious, and politically centrist.

The western half of the central part is home to a large number of Native American reservations. Years ago, the US forced these people onto certain plots of land so that the settlers could have the rest of it. Many of their descendants still live on this land. They are, unfortunately, usually uneducated and poor.

If you are young, intelligent, hard working, embitious, educated, come to USA. You're not likely to regret.

Top people come to USA. So do illegal immigrants. USA is not strict to law-breakers. So don't expect crime rate being too low. You can't be too trusting. Most strangers lie, no matter how well you treat them.

Offending other people is not the end of the world in this country. USA end up with many enemies, and wonders why.

Americans are GOOD people, though many are not nice. They are willing to give up some of their own benefit to people in the world. This is unique and touching.

Government officials don't think they are servants of the public. Money comes first in private sectors. "Me, me, me, me" instead of "we the community as a whole". High quality of customer service, or good manner, or reputation of the firm is unheard of by many employees.

Their government is unable of thinking what other countries are thinking. They don't understand different cultures, thinking if they can force others to do things, why bother knowing how they feel. They end up with being backfired but still don't understand what's wrong.

This is a very talented nation in lead of many things on earth. It is just very careless, leading in the beginning but spent lots of time cleaning up its own mess, and getting exhausted. It leaps before it looks. USA is still young, naive and premature.  But it is a great country.

One thing is impressive. Americans love to criticize their own gov and country. I can see they will improve rapidly and lead the world for a long time.

america is fun and beauriful in certain places my top choices here would be Alaska, Colorado, California, and Florida

Alaska: alaska is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! salmon fishing and whale watching is amazing

Colorado: colorado is fun for the snowboarding or skiing and drinking (if you're 21)

California: VERY VERY FUN! always things to do there... shop, gamble, surf, fish, swim.....

Florida: very touristy place but kind of too touristy
