Question:

I often get recurring toothaches...?

Every 4-5 months, I get really sharp toothaches that last for about a week. Ive never go to the dentist, because I have no health insurance. I am a minor so I am unable to get it without the assistance of my mothers... who is too cheap to do so. But that's beside the point.

I am aware that I have cavities, but I never have any poblems with pain except for these 1-week periods every 4-5 months. But when I do get them, they ultr-god hurt. Is this a serious problem? What should I do?

  1. it could be a serious problem if you dont handle it. your teeth are basically sitting in your mouth just rotting away at this point. you can get a good dentist without dental insurance. i dont have dental insurance either and ive never had a cavity in my life. you just need to look in the right places. i would suggest looking for a dentist and making an appointment as soon as you can before something gets worse. for all you know you may just have a cavity but that cavity could turn into a root canal or worse. good luck.

  2. You should see the dentist if you are in the UK it is free to minors (under 18) under the NHS but if you are in America or other parts of the world I don't know the pricing.

  3. i really advise that you go to the dentist since they could possibly be even more cavities. and look at this website: http://www.cbpp.org/shsh/ - it gives information about low cost health insurance.http://www.insurekidsnow.gov/ -  this website also has info about health insurance which has little or no cost.

  4. your cavaties can get sooooo bad to a point that you need to have surgery on your root canal...and it hurts like crazy!... maybe your starting to get simptoms of it

  5. Tell your mom you have a tooth ache.....really.....you should get to a dentist....having rotting teeth in your head is not healthy.
