  1. Dreams involving teeth in this manner in western culture norally does not convey inner notions of death but rather loss of attractiveness or health.

While you are attendent to your grandmother and obviously love her, there may be a subliminal suggestion when you are with her of your own future.  We all face aging and there's no shame in realizing that we often look at our elders and think of our own loss of youth.  That is suggested here due to the tie between the teeth 'event' and your grandmother's presence - it is a logical link.

While you don't reall need to share that with her, you should understand this is perfectly logical and human on your part.  It is a view toward a more aged future that likely drives this particular dream - not one of overt vanity but one of realizing that we lose certain physical appeal over time, and perhaps robust health of course.  And on the upside, we adjust with a sense of humor and good care to find younger charms can be replaced with new ones as we age, and health of course can be guarded well these days.

Consider these thoughts wakingly - perhaps they will help your understanding.

    All the best to you.

  3. Hi Cristina:

It would seem that the power of suggestion is at work here.  Over the years the dream of "losing teeth" has been given several meanings and usually false.

Your grandmothers age, the suggestion to you that teeth mean death and a natural fear of loss is all (in my opinion) at work in your mind,

Relax, enjoy your grandmother because separation is in the future but this dream does not mean it will be a short future.

    Good luck

  4. I had exactly the same dreams when I was young. I used to be spitting teeth out every night in my dreams.

I was told that it is a sign that a part of my life was moving out of my control.

Which at the time made a lot of sense to me, although now... it seems as if that was the dream...

  5. One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.
