Question:

I only drink about 1(rarely 2) glass(es) of water a day, is that bad?

I'm doing physical therapy, and I march in 100 degree weather for band.

  1. 8 glasses a day but if your drinking other drinks you can get away with less and if you drink too  much like pints of it you can get water intoxication which is dangerous cause your kidneys and brain cant deal with it .

    I suggest that you force yourself to drink more water.

    Increase the amount every day by a little until it gets to 8 glasses.

    Drinking so little water can give you dehydration problems. Sometimes, the body cannot feel dehydration, but if you collapse because of lack of water... that would of course, not be good.

    Adding: You march in 100 Fahrenheit degree for band? Then you should definitely increase your water. On days that you are outside in the hot sun, you must drink more and more water! It would not do the band any good if you dropped your instrument and collapsed on the ground! Always carry a water bottle around you, and even if you're full, drink a sip now and then.

    I hope your physical therapy works out well. But drink water. Coffee and tea may make you even more dehydrated. H2O is the best solution, I assure you.  

  3. Yes that is very bad aparentley your ment to drink 8 glasses of water a day..

  4. why? its bad for your kidny as well u dehaidrated in summer at least 8 glasses are ok for a day so plz take atleast 8 glass  

  5. we all need 6-8 glasses of water a day. in your case wherin you have to walk in a 100 degree weather, you need to drink more water to replace those lost from walking under that kind of weather. also, you need to drink a lot of water to avoid dehydration. you could get sick from dehydration and worse, end up in the hospital. take care of yourself, so drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day. okay?

  8. me too. but i heard you are suupoosed to drink at least 6 cups of water per day.  

  9. lattest  studies have shown  that  you  dont have to drink  that much (8 glasses) of water  as previously supposed.  it  is  enough  if  you take  a  minimum  of  4  glasses  a  day.  it'ill  be  goodd  in the  long  run..cheers
