i have just started my period but i only have a little bit of blood is this normal?also my best friend started on the same day and she says she had loads! also my blood was brown i don't know what is going on help

It is called spotting. It is when you just give out a little bit. It is perfectly normal. Brown is just dried blood. It wont be regular for a while... you might get it one week, then the next you get it the 3rd week.

Its perfectly normal... shouldnt you be asking your mum?
