I only have a month to train help!!!!!! tips?????

im training for my schools ROTC mud run i only have one month to train i have to start running in the hottest part of the day. is it ok to run every day or is that to much? i realy want to be chosen to be in the mud run they only pick 8 people. can i run every day? twice a day? every other whats the best?

  1. Running Pull-ups Push-ups and Crunches are what you have to focus on in order to score a perfect 300 on the PT.  I don't remember what the running distance is but I think you only have 13 minutes max to finish.


  2. don't run more that once a day! Especially if you are out of shape, you could injure legs, if you feel your shin's starting to hurt in the first week of running, then you are running too much and giving yourself shin splints, which can lead to a stress fracture.   I think the best thing to do is work your way up, the fist week run 4 days, and at a comfortable distance to break yourself in, then if you feel good the next week extend the distance, and pace.  Just make sure you have at least 2 days per week for recovery so your muscles can catch up.

  3. Yes, you can certainly run every day and I'd train in the hottest part of the day if that is what you're going to have to do.  If you do a second workout, make it less intense, and work different muscles.  So for example if you run in the hottest part of the day, then cycle in the evening...good luck!

  4. Run three days in a row rest one day run three rest one.
