I only have dvd rom can I still burn cd using this?

Is my dvd rom can still burn cd even I dont have a cd writter please help me how .thanks

Yes, dvd rom or combo drive can read CDs, write CDs and read DVDs. But it can't write DVDs.

Its can't..u need cd-rw drive,combo drive or dvd burner

CD-Rom-  Only read from CD

CD-RW-   Read and rewrite(burn)

DVD-Rom- read both cd and dvd

Combo Drive- Read cd and dvd and can rewrite cd only

DVD-Burner-Read and write both dvd and cd

ROM-means Read ONLY Media.So he can't write(burn) or it would say RW-Read Write.

Well most DVD ROMs came as combo DVD ROM CD RW..

It should work.

If you have a burning application, it'll test & let you know if youhave a burner. CD burning should not be an issue..

Telling us the make and model would help.

All I can say is that your DVD-Rom will only burn CDs if it has a CD burner built into it. If not, then it wont.
