im supposed to take a whole pill, but i have to cut it in half because i cant swallow pills, so i took the smaller half first, then i tried taking the bigger half, but i kept choking.

so i took the small half, waited about 15 minutes, then had some chicken noodle soup.

my stomach is starting to hurt, like alot of pressure, but i dont think its gas or anything. i havent had my period this month yet and im not sexually active.

do you think this was from only taking half of what i should have?

ive been taking zantac for a month now.

thanks everyone!

  1. you shouldnt do that medicine is highly put by dozes and if you unstable the doze you could have problems, my mom was taking a head ache medecine and, she notice she was hurtin in the stomach and even worse her head, and when she went to the doctor they told her if she was taking the right dozage she found out she could of almost died from taking the stuff wrong, so you should be careful take it all or the right doze!

  2. chicken soup has lots of acids and sodium  that would not help

  3. it is not the zantac. The zantac you have been taking the past few days are still in your system so you are adequately acid blocked

I don't know who gave me a thumbs down and would like to know where they got there MD and did their GI Residency

  4. I sounds like perhaps the pill made your stomach hurt since you took it before you ate food. I wouldn't bee too worry about your period, though the pain you feel could be associated with bloating or cramps or just the fluxuation of hormones throughout your body.

Pills affect you at different times different ways. Multi-vitamins, lately, have been making me nauseous when they never used to do that before. It's all about your body and how well you know it.

  5. Reason is something else not the pill
