I opened a macys account?

the guy at counter said that i will get 20% discount for first day on all my shopping at macys.. he also told me that he found an account in my name in the records that was disabled.. so he is enabling the same one but its just like opening a new account so i will get the 20% discount. i spent almost 800 dollars & now my bill came & there is no 20% discount... what is going on?? i will call customer service tomorrow but i m very mad for not getting the discount & now its going to b a whole lot of hassle. did this happen to anyone else?

absolutely, it happened to me and also I was working at macys and some customers had the same complaint, you are suppose to see the discount in your first stament and also you might want to check your receipts sometimes the discount shows there.

if that does not work you have no choice,call customer service and ask for a supervisor.
