  1. Consult your Ophthalmologist.

Please see the web pages for more details on LASIK surgery.

  2. Blurry vision is a learned behavior. Vision will always be at risk if we don't deal with that aspect of it. It is true that many people eventually learn how to live without allowing stress to settle into the eyes and vision appears to settle. There are still many people who continue to get more blurry vision after their vision was supposed to settle.

Artificial corrections(glasses, contacts, LASIK) do not deal with the real issues of blurry vision, which is how we use our eyes, mind, and body together. It is normal for people who depend upon artificial corrections to continue to get more and more blur and stronger and stronger corrections.

  3. Some patients do need an enhancement, yes.  Talk to your eye doctor about your candidacy.

  4. From what I have been told about this surgery, it works best with people whose eyes have stopped changing.  If you still needed new glasses every couple of years when you had the surgery, then your eyes would continue to change at the same rate.  So it is quite possible your vision might not be quite as good now as it was immediately after the surgery.
