I ordered a Seawind amphibious airplane (RC airplane), however, the fuselage is crooked.?

So I test fitted the airplane by taping on the wings and the horizontal stabilizers only to discover that they were not parallel with the wings. The tail piece seems to be twisted and I'm not sure how to "bend it back" so that horizontal stabilizer is parallel with the wings. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. I am guessing that the fuse is fiberglass and that you must epoxy down the horizontal stab and wings. Simply shim the low side of the stab when you epoxy it on. The minor incidence change can be trimmed out when you fly it.

I'm glad you posted this question 'cause I am just about ready to purchase one from Tower. I'll have to check mine carefully when I assemble it.

  2. If it is an Arf i would call and ask for another seawind.
