I ordered a Yip Yip sandwich from Armidillo Willies and they gave me this thing called a "sloppy hoe".

Is it the same thing? Ive never been to an Armidillo Willies before, just seems like an awful name for a sandwich.....

I think you head wrong, or they tweaked the name for their restaurant theme. It should be called a "Sloppy Joe". Ground beef with runny seasonings on a burger bun served with pickles and tater tots... at least in Texas. They also go by the name Manwich in other areas of the country.
