I ordered a full body kit from buddyclub2.com for my car. I did get an email that gave me the status which said processing and an order number. But I did not receive a confirmation number or a tracking number for my order. I tried contacting the company by phone and email and did not get an answer. Just recently i went back on the website but it was under construction. is it possible they just took my 700 dollars with out sending me my kit?

  1. Yup, it's definitely a scam. I've been scammed before like this too. The only way to get your money back would be to sue. And since it is under construction they probably did that because people were getting on to them. Nothing takes 2 months to deliver. Nothing period. You were scammed and call a law office.

  2. I just tried to go there and got the same thing. Looks like you will need to file a complaint with your credit/debit card company. Hopefully you can get a refund. Any time you deal with an on-line company do some investigation before sending any money. ADDED----Don't bother with a lawyer. It would be a waste of your time and besides, who are you going to sue if the company has disappeared. As far as the delay...sometimes companies experience supply problems and do have lengthy delays between the time an order is placed and when it is shipped.

  3. Some people wait for much longer then 2 months for bodykits if it's a rare kit for a rare car that has to be special order from outside the US..... but at least those people know what they're in for and get some sort of feedback and status of the order. Sounds like you are not gtetting that so I would reccomend you talk with the credit card company.
