  1. You are cranky because you are hungry, be patient food is on its way!

I still have to cook my meal.

  2. Try a different Chinese see if that one is better

  3. At least you're getting it delivered. If you order a takeaway to pick up later, they sometimes won't start cooking it until you get to the place to pick it up, then have to wait!

  4. wtf

  5. i had this with a Chinese, they said it would be 30 mins and it was two hours! they don't just guess a time they tell you roughly depending on how many orders they've had and how many deliveries they've got to do.

  6. Maybe it takes them 40 mins to cook it...?

  7. Mine are usually good on time, but it sounds better to you, if they say a half hour or so, if they said it'll be there in a hour would you continue with the order? They're just trying to keep you happy

  8. to make you more  hungry, so you by more food

  9. they're not...thats just an estimated time

  10. They're not lying, they were just wrong.  They have to give you an estimated time at a moment's notice, when really, there are a lot of things that go into it.  If all of the deliveries before yours are farther away, it will take longer for the drivers to get around to it.  If the people that ordered 2 minutes before you placed a massive order, it will make yours take longer.  It's an estimate, not a guarantee.

  11. You will wan't another one at 18.09

  12. Nobody ALWAYS lies. Everybody lies sometimes.  Sometimes we don't intend to lie, but circumstances beyond our control turn our truthful intentions into lies. Parents know this. They promise, and then 'something comes up' which makes it impossible for them to keep the promise.

Many times my orders are later than they said. As you grow older, you learn to make allowances.  I'm lucky to be living only a few blocks from take-out restaurants. Even they have been late sometimes. I stopped ordering. I walk there and bring my food home. Good exercise to work up my hunger. Food tastes better.

  13. so you dont go elsewhere?
