I ordered an item on ebay a couple of months ago and still haven't received it, what do i do?

I just emailed the seller and asked for the tracking number. She has a 7 day return policy but didn't get a tracking number and doesn't have the receipt for shipping the item. It was about ten bucks altogether with shipping and handling.

why didn;t you contact the seller after 10 days? and you never received it so the 7 day return policy hasn't started yet

You should really ask this on the ebay boards, but if you used a credit card I'd do a chargeback or possibly file a complaint with Paypal if she breached her own terms and conditions...in other words, if she says in the description that items will be sent by a shipping company that gives tracking numbers and she doesnt provide you with a tracking number, then she breached her own auction terms.  Was it sent with insurance?

Obviously you cant return the item within the 7 day time frame if it's been 2 months.  Did you check her feedback? How bad/good was it? Tip: Dont wait so long next time to ask about a package that hasnt arrived. ;)

oh boy - a few MONTHS go? you've probably went over the period in which you can start a PayPal dispute then - plus lodging a complaint with eBay - all you can do now is hope that the item gets sent to you.
