  1. We ordered a container of furniture from China and got caught up in Customs.  It was held up because of the fabric on the pieces, somehow it violated a previous trade agreement.  You have to call the Custom officer in charge of your case, he/she will get back to you in a week or so.  It took about 3 months to clear and we had to hire a lawyer.  We will never do that again.
