  1. Is there something in your life that has or will happened, and you feel like you have no control over it? Your obsession to organize/clean is probably  because, that is an area in your life that you can control! It may sound silly but, your brain is feeling like it's no longer "the boss", so it's compensating by "rulling" over stuff it can control down to a detail (like cleaning or organising.) Being organized is good, don't get me wrong, but you need to tell yourself that the anxious feeling you're having is about something you can't control. Their's no use getting all pannicky over stuff you can't control. I know it's unpleasant but, you have to let things deal themselves out... I'm sure if you really think about it, their's something  in your environment that is giving you this anxious feeling...Maybe it's the fact that you are sick and wish you weren't right now cause you have things to do?...Whatever it is, sometimes, we have to talk to ourselves and remind ourselves that we can't control eveything and that we can't be perfect...or else, the anxiety will only get more severe and the stress will eat at you!

I hope this makes sense to you and I hope I've helped you;)

    take care!

  2. People without degrees in psychology or any psychology experience should stop jumping to conclusions and giving people diagnosis that they don't understand. A lot of people think that they know about a mental illness by what is portrayed in Hollywood, which is a very warped, and limited, view.

If I had to guess It sounds like maybe your trying to gain control over your life. Are there other things going on in your life that are stressful or upsetting to you? Have you went through a lot of changes recently in your life? If so you maybe cleaning and rearranging to regain a sense of control. If things feel out of control in our lifes we some times attach ourselves, sometimes obsessively, to things we can control to help our lives seem stable.

If you are doing anything else in your life that seems obsessive AND if these things interfere with you life, like you can't complete things you need to do in life like meeting with friends and family or your school work because of these obsessions, then you might want to talk to a psychiatrist. It is only OCD if it interfers with your day to day life.

  3. It may not seem organized because it isn't in a logical placement for you.  Perhaps your stuff isn't in places that is logical to your mind.  But you also may not be used to the new arrangent give it some time.

  4. I think you're just OCD.

  5. I know exactly how you feel. you just haven't gotten used to being organized. at a different place.
