I over cooked something in the microwave and almost started?

the paper plate on fire, so anyways how do I get that terrible smell out of the microwave?

turn on the fan under your microwave and open a couple of windows...that will help to circulate the air out of your house

Ive heard that outting a bowl of vinegar in the microwave and turning on for a minute or so will take out the smell.

saturate a sponge with water and a few drops of lemon juice nuke on medium for a minute or so.  Let it stay in the oven until the sponge cools off.

Boil a mug of cold water and lemon juice in the microwave for about 3 mins til the inside is full of steam. Them spray some cleaner in and wipe it all over til dry with kitchen paper. Leave a lemon chunk in it and the door open for a few hours after.
