I over lubricated my sewing machine, how long does it take to dry out?

You could run it for a few minutes without thread, just keep your foot on the pedal at a moderate pace. Wipe up all the excess oil.

This is very hard to answer; it depends upon how much excess oil you added.  I suggest you have old  rags around to absorb the oil until the oil stops dripping.

CAUTION!  Oil soaked rags will be a fire hazard.  Do not leave them indoors or bunched together.
