I ovulated the day my period stopped, is this normal?

I ovulated the day my bleeding stopped from my period, my cervix was fully open and i had a dip in temp. with my BBT, and I got a fertile result with my FertileFocus saliva ovulation predictor. me and my hubby are TTC #1 and we did BD the day I ovulated and the day after, do you think it's possible to conceive like this?

It is normal, but these cases are in minority. But happens in 20 % of women, that they ovulate from the last day of their menstrual cycle. So when women think its safe to have unprotected s*x during their menses, they are wrong, if they do not want to get pregnant. There is no 100% surety of anytime of hte month that you wont get pregnant.

Yes, you can conceive if you have sexual intimacy during or directly after your period. Some women, especially later moms, drop their egg quickly after a period. There is a good chance. Having sexual intimacy during your period or directly after increases your chances of conception.

yep! I'm pregnant right now and conceived the child on the last day of my period and I was ovulating. I always ovulate the few days after my period :P.
