I owe 4500 on my car what do i do?

I owe 4500 on my car still it has 188,000 miles on it i need a new car what should i do and how should i go about it. I went back to my car lot they say i need at least 3000 down before i can do anything

Keep paying on it, maintaining it, and driving it.  What other choice do you have?

You don't get out of debt by going further into debt.
