I owe someone 9,000 should I pay them with a cashiers check?

if part of the contract was cashier check ..you should do it...but if you can pay with a check is easier to get proof that they cashed that check...but always make sure to get a receipt of every single payment...

Cashiers check, personal check or cash; either way be ABSOLUTELY SURE to get a receipt for the full amount.  That way you are covered & no one can claim you didn't pay.
