  1. Ok. Just keep it would be my idea. Because the shares are in bad condition. But if you are sure the shares doesn't mean anything and it is profitable to sell you can go ahead.

  2. Although, I'm just beginning to research the topic as well, I've been hearing that you should sell your stocks and invest in gold. Maybe invest in a company that mines gold. I have some questions about investing money on my profile. Perhaps you should look at the answers.

Don't take my advice. Just read what others have to say.

  3. BUY low, sell high...Unless you need the money I stay in.

  4. It depends on what stocks you are invested in.

It's not a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket especially in stock for the company you work for.  For example, what if your company goes under?  Not only would you lose your job, your stock in that company would plummet.  Just ask ex-employees from Enron.  I would recommend selling the bulk of your stocks and use the proceeds to diversify your portfolio to spread out your risk.

  5. Most financial advisors will tel you that you need about 3 different stocks or funds for every $10,000.  Diversification is important.  Sometimes employers will stop you from buying anymore share for a couple monthes if you sell.  It would be sad to miss out on all these really cheap stocks when they are paying you to but it.

Get more money, then diverisify. You got a ways to go
