I own Wrigley Stock, However:

"Mars, a diversified company best known for its candy bars, came up $23 billion (with Buffett's help) for the Wm. Wrigley company in what's been the third-biggest buyout this year. The price puts money in the pocket of the many long-term investors who owned Wrigley stock."

How do I get my money? Is there a phone number to call, do they send a check automatically? Very confussed here. Thanks for your help!

  1. You will be given stock in the new company. Call your broker or whomever you bought the stocks through. It should be good news to you, I am assuming the Wrigley shareholders sold out with good reason (they are being compensated to do so).

You can just sell the Wrigley Stock stock now in the open market and cash out and pay taxes on your gains.

If you do nothing, you should receive according to the current deal terms,

"Shareholders of Wrigley would receive $80 in cash for each share of stock."

    Current price:

Mars is privately held. You will NOT be getting any shares of Mars stock.
